Jill began her Pilates practice at 14, to gain a competitive edge in her internationally ranked equestrian endeavors, as well as manage her scoliosis. Her love for the Authentic Pilates™ system, as well as the results that it produced spurred her to further her education. Jill completed her instructor certification, in 2016, through the New York Pilates Studio® Teacher Certification Program, under the tutelage of world-renowned instructor and teacher trainer, Brett Howard, as well as Philadelphia’s own, Lisa Gadsby. To date, this is still one of Pilates’ most prestigious and rigorous certification programs.
Upon completion, she taught at Uptown Pilates and ModelFIT, in New York, NY. Her clients ranged from high profile supermodels and celebrities to people recovering from injuries and surgeries.
Recently, Jill has completed certifications in both CAFS (Certification in Applied Functional Science) and 3DMAPS (Movement Analysis and Performance) through Gray Institute, as well as the ELDOA method through The Legacy Institute. Jill also holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of Delaware. In her spare time, you can catch her restaurant hopping, traveling, or spending time at the barn.
Jill prioritizes the needs and goals of her clients above all else. She hopes to empower those she works with and have a positive impact on their lives, both in and out of the studio.
Meg is a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body University. She is educated in both classical and contemporary Pilates and has been teaching in the area since 2009. Meg is also certified in Yoga through the YogaLife Institute of Devon, PA, and specializes in prenatal and postpartum Pilates and general fitness regiments.
She began teaching movement at a local dance studio instructing ballet in 1997 and later went on to teach at both the Rock School of Ballet and at the Koresh School of Dance in Philadelphia. Meg is passionate about teaching new and expectant mothers, and her mission is to bring joy to and empower others through movement.
Marissa Bottino Strader holds a comprehensive Pilates certification through the Kane School of Core Integration in New York, NY under the direct instruction of the program’s founder, Kelly Kane. Due to her continuous interest in anatomy and “tensegrity,” she continues to train in Anatomy Trains by Tomas Myers. After teaching for two years at Mongoose Bodyworks in SoHo, NYC, Marissa taught at Pilates on Riverwatch in Augusta, Georgia where she worked with many professional golfers and equestrians.
Marissa came to Pilates through dance. Her movement experience began when she started dancing at age three in Atco, New Jersey. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Muhlenberg College. She fell in love with Pilates after taking courses in Pilates and Somatic Practice and Anatomy and Biomechanics. Pilates informed and improved her dancing by helping her to find an ease and efficiency in her movement through breath, mindfulness, and balance. Marissa is also an American Ballet Theatre Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT National Training Curriculum.
She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Clinical Social Work, and so has a passion for making her clients feel present, competent, and empowered. Marissa fell in love with mind/body work because she loves to think with, move with, and experience the presence of others. She strives to create a positive atmosphere for her clients, working with them to craft fitness/corrective sessions that will leave them feeling stronger. She is passionate about meeting her clients where they are, and challenging them to reach their full movement potential! Marissa is thrilled to join the Framework Pilates and Functional Movement team!
Donna has been practicing Pilates for over thirteen years. What started as a fun way to treat her scoliosis turned into a lifelong love of mindful movement. She practiced classical Pilates throughout most of her life, but turned to more contemporary approaches to teaching for her certification.
In 2014 she completed her mat certification through the Kane School of Core Integration, a progressive training program with a focus on biomechanics and anatomy. In 2018 she began her equipment certification through the Drexel Pilates Training Program, under the direction of Jennifer Morley, who studied under both Romana Kryzanowska and Kathy Carlson.
There she learned the classical repertoire, while harnessing her skills as a knowledgeable, effective instructor. Her goal is to give her clients a full body workout that leaves them feeling stronger, more energized and more connected with their bodies. Outside of Pilates, Donna comes from a family of fishmongers and helps market seafood products. She enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her hound dog, Bob.
